The Traffic Engineer will develop technical traffic analysis for highways, streets, and multi-modal facilities. This is a high-growth opportunity within a rapidly expanding team at our company.
The Traffic Engineer must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license, Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, or Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification.

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed traffic management plans for construction projects, ensuring the safety of road users and construction workers.
- Conduct technical traffic analysis to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.
- Provide advice on traffic design and civil engineering matters to project teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure all traffic-related aspects of construction projects are effectively managed.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented traffic management plans and make necessary adjustments.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to traffic engineering and civil engineering.
- Prepare and present reports on traffic-related findings and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) license
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Traffic Engineer or in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in traffic analysis and traffic design.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Proficient in using traffic engineering software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
