Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year

The Traffic Engineer will develop technical traffic analysis for highways, streets, and multi-modal facilities. This is a high-growth opportunity within a rapidly expanding team at our company.

The Traffic Engineer must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license, Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, or Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement detailed traffic management plans for construction projects, ensuring the safety of road users and construction workers.
  • Conduct technical traffic analysis to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Provide advice on traffic design and civil engineering matters to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure all traffic-related aspects of construction projects are effectively managed.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented traffic management plans and make necessary adjustments.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to traffic engineering and civil engineering.
  • Prepare and present reports on traffic-related findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) license
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Traffic Engineer or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in traffic analysis and traffic design.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficient in using traffic engineering software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
