We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Tool Maker to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining industrial tools, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and repair various tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
2. Perform welding and smoldering tasks with precision and accuracy.
3. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to understand specifications and blueprints for tool creation.
5. Troubleshoot issues with tools and dies, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
7. Continually assess and improve tool performance, recommending modifications or upgrades as necessary.
8. Document all tooling processes and repairs for future reference.
9. Train and guide junior staff members on tooling best practices and techniques.
10. Keep abreast of latest industry trends and advancements in tool making.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool making, specifically in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in die tooling, welding, and smoldering.
3. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
5. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing environment.
6. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools and materials.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in tool making is a plus.
10. Willingness to continually update knowledge and skills in line with industry advancements.
