What You'll Do The
Tool & Die Technician will be responsible for the manufacturing and finishing of our production and prototype thermoforming tooling and parts. The essential duties are as follows but are not limited to:
- Manufacturing, building, and finishing/polishing our production and prototype tooling and parts by hand and using tools; examination of all surface areas during finishing process.
- Experience with benchwork, specifically tool polishing
- Performing service and periodic maintenance on vacuum forming tools
- Assisting in tool changes
- Utilizing carpentry skills to build tooling fixtures and shipping crates
- Assembling and gluing modeling boards for CNC machining
- Assisting in shop maintenance tasks as necessary
What You'll Bring - High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Local candidates only
- Must have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Must be proactive and show initiative in taking on and completing projects
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
What We Value - Benchwork and/or tool finishing/polishing experience strongly preferred
- Tool & Die maintenance experience strongly preferred
- CDL certification is a plus
What We Require - Full use of arms, legs, hands, and feet
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
