As a CNC Machinist you will:
- Operate a cell to include set ups, understanding of programming and lay out of jobs.
- Initiate program adjustments from engineering.
- Perform general maintenance, cleaning and organization of equipment and tooling.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform general troubleshooting of CNC machines and tooling.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work order instructions, and operate required tools involved in role.
- Maintain tolerances to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to ensure the success of the department and the company.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure the functionality.
Requirements:
Required qualifications for a CNC Machinist:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have strong mechanical ability to be a successful CNC Machinist
- Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy
- Must demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision and communicate with coworkers, manager and other departments
- Maintain poise and respond in a professional and respectful manner to all situations
