Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading tool manufacturer in the Wake Forest area who is looking for a Tool and Die Maker to join their team. This is a direct hire position working 1 st shift Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Toolmaker will fabricate, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, and molds.
- Toolmaker will interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Toolmaker will set up and operate a variety of machine tools and equipment.
- Toolmaker will inspect tools and dies for quality and precision.
- Toolmaker will troubleshoot and resolve tooling and die-related issues.
- Toolmaker will collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize tool and die designs.
- Toolmaker will maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Candidates must at least 3 years of tool and die making experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of machining and heat treatment
- Candidates must be computer savvy with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Candidates with a trade school diploma or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred
