We are seeking a seasoned Tool and Die Maker to join our dynamic engineering team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for you to apply your expertise in CNC machine operation, equipment maintenance, and quality control. You will be responsible for creating and repairing specific tools and dies based on engineered drawings. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that our equipment functions optimally and our products meet the highest quality standards. If you have a passion for precision, a knack for troubleshooting, and a deep understanding of tooling and metalworking, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain a variety of machines including CNC, lathe, mill, and grinding machines.
2. Design and construct tools, dies, and fixtures for use in manufacturing.
3. Perform tool maintenance and grinding as required.
4. Troubleshoot and repair tooling, dies, and equipment.
5. Use precision measurement tools to ensure products meet quality control standards.
6. Program machines for optimized performance.
7. Assist in setting up machines for production runs.
8. Use CAD and CAM software to design and manufacture parts.
9. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve tooling and production processes.
10. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker or in a similar role.
2. Proven experience with CNC machine operation, lathe operation, mill operation, and grinding.
3. Extensive knowledge of tooling, die design, and metalworking.
4. Proficiency in machine programming.
5. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
6. Experience with CAD and CAM software.
7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
8. Demonstrated ability to perform precision measurements and quality control.
9. Experience in tool maintenance and equipment upkeep.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. A degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
