Tint Service Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Custom tint stains and pigmented colors. Set up and maintain a color match recordkeeping system. Answer lacquer end user technical inquiries about coating products, systems and application questions. Maintain inventory control of the distributors coating inventories with the assistance of the Purchasing Department. Accurately process shipping/receiving documents from distributor. Ability to take orders from customers via various methods; will call, telephone, and e-mail. Report on all activities to the Product Sales Specialist Work various duties in the warehouse which include, but are not limited to pulling laminate and hardware orders and load trucks. Interacts with customers on a daily basis and ensures orders and samples are delivered in a timely manner. Schedule hazardous waste material to assure safely protocol is conducted. Ensures a safe work environment by following safety rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Ability to lift 75 pounds and operate forklift required. Must pass color test. Previous knowledge of fine finish spray equipment a plus. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee would be required to answer phones, type on a computer, 10-key, filing and other general clerical duties. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. These activities are also included in the physical demands: walking, speaking, breathing, seeing, hearing, learning, working, performing manual tasks, caring for oneself, attending employment related activities, interacting with others, and ability to travel as business requires.
