About this Position:
This job will support the accurate processing of time information for all US based Honda Associates. This position supervises site leads at the various locations. Also ensures that the Time capture and payment process is efficient and produces timely accurate pay information to payroll.
Responsibilities include:

• Submitting accurate time files in a timely manner aligned with payroll deadlines. Ensures that the appropriate controls are in place and operating effectively.

• Provides guidance to staff & time verifications coordinators (TVCs). This includes providing training and coaching as needed.

• Problem Solving and Troubleshooting - Research time and attendance issues reported by payroll, HR, TVCs and site leads. Ensuring the appropriate research is completed and a timely clear response is communicated. Work with HRT\IT technical staff to evaluate, trouble-shoot system functionality and issues.

• Ensure time impacting policy changes are implemented accurately. Identifying the required testing and completing the testing.

• Continuously improve the time and labor processes. Including testing Kronos system enhancements/release upgrades. Including identifying and addressing accuracy issues with input.

• Subject Matter Expert on policies supported by Kronos. Upon request provide advice to individuals making policy changes. Identify and communicate opportunities to improve quality by recommending additional training, clarification or simplification of policies.

• Answer HR policy questions related to Kronos supported policies. Provide training to new HR staff members.

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

• 5+ years of payroll and human resources systems or related field.

• 2 years experience supporting complex time policies including experience with time & attendance system.

• Supervisor experience is required.

Required Education:

• Associates Degree
Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with payroll operations

• Proficient in time and attendance systems.

• Understanding of time and attendance processes and process design.


Additional Position Factors:

• Open-office environment

• Remote work available for this position

• 5-10 hours of OT/week

• Some travel ( 5%) may be required to visit HDMA sites
