Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough assessments of students to identify physical limitations, disabilities, or conditions that may affect students
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each student
- Deliver physical therapy interventions to students
- Continuously assess and track the progress of students throughout their therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to create a supportive educational environment for students with physical disabilities or limitations
- Assist students in developing the physical skills necessary to participate in classroom activities
- Implement preventive strategies to reduce the risk of physical injuries within the school environment
- Advocate for the needs of students with physical disabilities or limitations
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and communication with parents and other educational professionals.
