Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Roscoe, ILWe are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our group full time in Roscoe, IL to assist with patient care through all phases of physical therapy.We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant who is passionate about improving the health and quality of life of our patients. We have a state-of-the-art facility and use advanced technologies and therapies and we can get results no other clinics can match.Duties: Aids with patient care including assisting, instructing, and scheduling patients Assists patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and rehab programs Assists in performing range of motion and stretching exercises with patients Documenting and completing notes following patient appointments Completes appropriate forms and home treatment instructions for patients as needed Assists patients with understanding prescribed health care treatments Sets up exercise equipment in treatment rooms as needed by pushing, wheeling or carrying equipment Ensures billing forms are accurate and complete prior to submission to billing department Escorts patients to appropriate treatment areas Maintains proper condition and cleanliness of treatment rooms, sterilizes instruments and equipment following each patient visit and ensures treatment rooms are sufficiently stocked with towels and related supplies Monitors inventory of supplies, informs management of supply shortages, examines incoming supply orders, and stores in appropriate area Maintain patient confidentiality Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, staff and other departments Executes plan of care within and in full compliance with state board recommendations and guidelines Responds to patient questions and inquiries as required to resolve problems and maintain high patient standardsRequirements: Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting (PTA) from an accredited program PTA license in ILSchedule: Full timeSalary: $35 to $45 per hourIf you would like to be part of a dedicated, dynamic healthcare team in a challenging, rewarding environment, the come join us.
