Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Phoenix, AZWe are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our group full time in Phoenix, AZ to assist with patient care through all phases of physical therapy.We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant who is passionate about improving the health and quality of life of our patients. The result is more comprehensive, more targeted, and more comfortable care delivered.Duties: Aids Physical Therapy with patient care including assisting, instructing, and scheduling patients Assists patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and rehab programs Assists PT in performing range of motion and stretching exercises with patients Assists PT with documenting and completing notes following patient appointments Completes appropriate forms and home treatment instructions for patients as needed Assists patients with understanding prescribed health care treatments Sets up exercise equipment in treatment rooms as needed by pushing, wheeling or carrying equipment Ensures billing forms are accurate and complete prior to submission to billing department Escorts patients to appropriate treatment areas Maintains proper condition and cleanliness of treatment rooms, sterilizes instruments and equipment following each patient visit and ensures treatment rooms are sufficiently stocked with towels and related supplies Monitors inventory of supplies, informs management of supply shortages, examines incoming supply orders, and stores in appropriate area Provides effective communication to Colleagues, PTs and Physicians as requiredRequirements: PTA license in AZSchedule: Full timeSalary: $65k-$85k per yearWe offer a competitive salary with generous benefits, and a great working environment with a comfortable atmosphere and dynamic team.
