Our work involves electronic hardware for close in weapons system. The manufacturing operations is located in Louisville, KY What You Will Do Interpreting test requirements, developing and maintaining test procedures, and documenting test practices Analyzing data to drive issues to root cause Generating Change Requests (CRs) on technical issues relating to the production test process Developing and executing improvement projects to increase first pass yield Engagement with Design and Test Development teams to solve issues impacting production Assisting manufacturing operators in the testing & troubleshooting of production hardware Supporting production test of RF/Microwave subsystems and components on functional test platforms Support test and troubleshooting of RF, IF, Analog and Digital hardware assemblies Ability to travel 10% as required What You Will Learn Management of test projects within a production driven environment. Projects range from updates and improvements of existing tests, to integration, verification and validation of testing for new hardware. Types of testing, test architectures and instrumentation in a technically diverse environment. Communicate with many levels of program management, operations stakeholders and customers relative to the results of testing, test data and test requirements. Extensive, on the job training, is provided. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. 2 years of test and/or troubleshooting experience The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Masters in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, OneNote) RF, analog or digital test / troubleshooting skills Labview Test equipment knowledge/familiarity with Tektronix and Keysight instruments Use of oscilloscopes or spectrum analyzers for testing/troubleshooting A continuous improvement mindset to enhance manufacturing test methods through process modernization Demonstrated success working in a fast paced manufacturing environment Active SECRET clearance What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role. Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
