Location: Galloway Department: Facilities & Plant Operations Salary Information: $22.50 per hour Work Hours: Varies Brief Job Overview/Summary Under supervision of a Crew Supervisor or Supervisor, does varied types of plumbing work involved in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and steam fitting fixtures, fittings, and systems; does other related duties as required. NOTE: This is Summer Temporary Job May 15, 2024 through September 8, 2024 Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Performs routine general plumbing duties in accordance with standard safety procedures involved in the installation and maintenance of plumbing facilities; works with various tools common to the trade. Repairs and maintenance of gas, water and waste disposal pipes and facilities within residential areas. Troubleshoots common malfunctions and makes emergency and permanent repairs. Clears stopped-up drains, pipes and facilities and repacks faucets and valves. Installs washer kits and repairs leaks. Installs new parts and tests completed installations. Cleans and maintains tools and equipment.
