What will I be doing?

  • Complete assessments, reassessments and Individual Recovery Plans
  • Obtain and upload signed consent documentation for each Behavioral Health Assessment via DocuSign or in-person documentation (written or via signature pad).
  • Document assessments and contact notes, using a computer-based reporting system, i.e. Care Logic.
  • Actively participate in team meetings with the Manager.
  • Attend monthly Clinical Supervision group unless fully licensed as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
  • Actively and timely responds to consumer crisis and supports crisis intervention efforts when BHL is called. Collaborate with outside agencies as appropriate, i.e., Probation, DFCS, DJJ, CME, LIPT, School, Court system.
  • Maintain a caseload size which will allow for quality services, and which will also meet productivity targets.
  • Participate in community collaborative meetings.
  • Ensure that IRPs are person-centered and meet State Guidelines.
  • Provide training to new intake workers on intakes and writing treatment plans if needed by Program Supervisor.
  • Active role in PQI process development and monitoring.
  • Case conferencing with the Treatment Team.
  • On an as-needed basis, assist with Walk-in or "On-call" assessments.
  • Assist with Hospital Discharge Appointments (if associate or fully licensed).
  • Complete Diagnostic Assessments

Qualifications:

  • FULLY LICENSED- Georgia Licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Psychologist is preferred.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills, based on training and experience, necessary to assess clients and provide individual and/or group psychotherapy/counseling.
  • Knowledge of and practice by the ethical standards of their professional association, State Licensing Board and Georgia HOPE.
  • Knowledge of and practice by the confidentiality standards of HIPAA regulations.
  • Computer skills adequate for inputting session documentation, billing and scheduling.
  • Capacity to function collegially and communicate within a Treatment Team.
  • Ability to process cases information and benefit from supervision to assure service is provided at the Clinician's highest level of professional competency and improve professional knowledge and skills.
