Job Details

As a Telecommunications Field Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and directing employees and subcontractors to ensure the timely completion of projects, emphasizing cost efficiency and maintaining a commitment to quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Project Oversight:
  • Supervise and provide guidance to employees and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain a focus on quality and safety throughout project execution.

2. Inventory Management:
  • Prepare and manage equipment inventory.
  • Track material usage and optimize resource allocation.

3. Utilization Monitoring:
  • Monitor and report equipment and vehicle utilization.
  • Implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

4. Communication and Leadership:
  • Utilize strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
  • Demonstrate leadership ability to inspire and guide the project team.

5. Training and Development:
  • Coach and train team members in areas of deficiency.
  • Facilitate on-the-job training and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

We are open to entry-level junior experienced candidates looking to grow their careers, and while telecommunications experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. We highly value any field engineering, utility services, and project management experience.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Proactive approach in identifying and addressing issues, providing options for resolution.
  • Ability to coach and train team members in the field.
  • Willingness to undergo on-site and on-the-job training.
