Job Description:
As a Decom Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our client's operations, working on customer sites across the US
Your responsibilities will include handling equipment, inventory management, adherence to safety policies, and supporting decommissioning projects
You will work closely with fellow team members to ensure the safe removal, packaging, and shipping of telecom equipment
Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting project activities, booking travel arrangements, and submitting weekly expense reports.
Requirements:
3-5 years of Telecom Experience
Ability to travel domestically, including weekly travel for the first two months
Prior experience handling equipment preferred
Strong documentation and computer skills (Word, Excel)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
High School diploma required
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with inventory control systems
Ability to travel to Canada
Knowledge of optical link characterization and measurement techniques
