Schedule: Full Time Shift: Second Shift 3:30pm-12pm Monday-Friday, and rotating weekend Saturday and Sunday same hours Location: AdventHealth Hindsdale The community you'll be caring for: More than 800 physicians, 450 advanced practice providers, and 2,600 clinical and support staff in over 40 specialties, provide patients with a broad range of medical and surgical services. AdventHealth Medical Group Central FL operates over 200 offices, providing compassionate, multidisciplinary care to more than one million patients a year. The role you'll contribute: Performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation. The value you'll bring to the team: Sets up and adjusts all equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures. Performs routine and complex studies and assists physician in a variety of imaging procedures. Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations. Qualifications - External The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : Minimum qualifications : Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred Previous experience required BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registry Eligible Medical Sonography Tech credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
