The ideal technician supervisor will have excellent leadership, training, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

Located in San Leandro, CA, VCA Bay Area Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Hospital is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital that has been caring for the pets of our community for over 25 years. Qualifications:

3 + year(s) as an RVT in a Specialty hospital
Must have proven specialty/emergency RVT skills

Supervisory duties will include:

Team training, development, and support
Implementing department policies and procedure
Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings
Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs
Record keeping
Marketing
Facility maintenance
HR conversations

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $40 to $43 / hour.
