Job Description

Essential Job Duties:

Performs building operations, preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, installations, and corrective maintenance on site equipment such as, humidifiers, exhaust fans, de-humidifiers, pumps, motors but not limited to these items.

Troubleshoot and repair as need.

Repair piping systems including pumps, motors, and valves, and bathroom fixtures.

Inspects major systems and identifies operating problems, performs complex troubleshooting, and implements repairs.

Performs rounds and readings to ensure equipment is operating normally.

Performs building operations including building automation monitoring, alarm response, and implementation of corrective actions.

Maintains records as needed both regulatory and service related.

Develops operational procedures and supports continuous improvement efforts for the site.

Performs general building maintenance, patching/painting, event set ups, responding to work orders both scheduled and urgent.

Interact with customers with respect and professionalism.

Provides general and detailed maintenance (either with direct or indirect supervision), including patching, painting, hardware repairs and other repair/replacement work as required.

Performs routine facility and equipment maintenance.

Dedicates some hours every week for assistance with general office work related to the work request system and the ordering of supplies and materials.

Performs routine facility and equipment maintenance.

Performs routine daily inspections of assigned buildings and spaces.

Assists, or performs solo when needed.

Follow the Facilities Work Request System. Completes all documentation for work performed, in a timely manner.

Maintains appropriate service and repair records.

Respond to emergency call-ins

Oversees and performs the duties associated with events, including executing the set-ups plan in a timely manner, breakdowns are completed on schedule with spaces returned to normal state.

Assists and serves as back up to other Facilities employees.

Must wear ANSI safety shoes composite toe and personal protective equipment.

Daily and punctual attendance in the job site is required

Performs any other related duties as assigned or requested.
