Technical Writer with Security Clearance

Description Technical Writer Yorktown, VA Orbis is seeking a Technical Writer to work on site on the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown Va, in support of our RADIAC and RADCON Professional Services contract. Responsibility include: Using data provided by equipment vendors or lead engineers, create and edit Navy technical manuals associated with radiation detection instruments in Extensible Markup Language (XML) or Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) format using Arbortext or similar software. Convert existing Navy technical manuals from PDF and Microsoft Word source files into XML or SGML format.
