Technical Writer with Security Clearance

Position Overview RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Technical Writer in Virginia Beach, VA; Washington, DC; Indian Head, MD, in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), McAlester Detachment. This position is contingent upon contract award. Roles and Responsibilities: Analyze and prepare documentation, writing, editing, and interpreting technical documentation standards and preparing documentation accordingly.
Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
Coordinates the display of graphics and the production of the document.
Ensures content is of high quality and conforms with standards.Required Qualifications and Experience: BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university in English, Communications, or Information Technology.
At least three years of experience, background, and knowledge of one or more Defense Programs is required.
Written communication, ability to explain concepts clearly.
Planning and organization skills
Knowledge of software and computers
Possesses attention to detail and multitasking.
