Description
Responsible for mid to high complexity projects with high complexity related to general engineering and technical process improvements.

Additional Job Details
The Technical Writer researches, outlines, writes, and illustrates new or existing information products. The Technical Writer assumes responsibility for executing project tasks as assigned by the Technical Publications Leader and works with a minimum of direct supervision. The Technical Writer works according to published department procedures and style guides, and in conformance with applicable agency requirements.

Job Specifications:
Working knowledge of computers and a good understanding of software concepts
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, CorelDraw, Adobe Acrobat, and RoboHelp Office or equivalent tools
Good interviewing skills as demonstrated by professional, effective information-gathering meetings with subject matter experts

Education: Associates Degree
