Job Details

Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Overview:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our entire product range, including batteries, battery chargers, and software-based solutions such as remote monitoring portals. Your expertise will be essential in providing top-notch technical support to our customer base in the United States and, as part of the global support team, to our international customers from time to time by employing a blend of soft-/hardware troubleshooting skills and entrepreneurial mindset to drive customer satisfaction and product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support across the entire product range via phone, email, and chat, focusing on resolving customer issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment in our workshop and on-site at customer locations in the United States and, occasionally, internationally, leveraging your expertise in software-based diagnostics and hardware repair.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, quality, and application departments, to deliver comprehensive support solutions tailored to meet their specific needs.
  • Document all completed work meticulously in our case management system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of support activities.
  • Actively participate in development projects as a dedicated service and support representative, offering valuable insights and feedback to enhance product performance and customer experience.

Requirements:
  • Technical education in electricity/electronics, ideally complemented by university-level qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience in the field.
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and electrical equipment, with a strong preference for experience in CAN-controlled power regulation, battery charging/control, and integration within diverse vehicle environments.
  • Proficiency in network and IP communications, including remote support protocols such as Telnet, SSH, and TeamViewer, demonstrating your ability to diagnose and resolve software-related issues remotely.
  • Additional experience with high-current/voltage applications, cloud-based services, and portals will be highly valued, showcasing your versatility and adaptability in navigating evolving technological landscapes.
