Threat Tec is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Operations Instructor (TSO) to join our team in support of the MRTC Special Reconnaissance Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert instruction and training in a wide range of technical areas relevant to Special Operations Forces (SOF) Tactical Cyber Techniques and Technical Surveillance. Responsibilities Deliver instruction on SOF Tactical Cyber Techniques, including Software Defined Radio, RF / 802.11 / BT / SDR Survey, and Adversary Emulation Operations.
Conduct training on Command Line Interface (CLI), Linux, Windows Operating Systems, Shell scripting, programming languages, and Python scripting language.
Instruct on the OSI Model, Network Security Basics, Vulnerability Research, and the development of new exploitation techniques.
Provide training in Digital Camera Operations, Surveillance Photography, Remote Camera Operations, and Close Target Reconnaissance (CTR).
Develop and lead Practical Exercise Scenario Development for Surveillance instruction.
Deliver Tactical Audio and Video Instructions (TAVS) and Basic Electronics training, including Commercial Off the Shelf Electronics Modification.
Instruct on Method of Entry (MOE) LVl 1, LVl 2, and LVl 3 techniques.
Provide training on Tracking Devices, including Satellite, Iridium, RF, DF, and Global Star.
Ensure training curriculum aligns with MARSOF Tactical Cyber Course or MARSOF Technical Surveillance Course standards.
Utilize instructional best practices and techniques to effectively deliver course material.
Assist in the development of training materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises.
Maintain proficiency in relevant technical areas and stay abreast of industry developments and advancements. Qualifications Graduate of MARSOF Tactical Cyber Course or MARSOF Technical Surveillance Course, Special Forces Brighton Course, or equivalent SOCOM Technical Surveillance - SOF Cyber Course.
Completion of Formal School Instructor Course (FSIC) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of Technical Support operations experience in a military or DOD civilian capacity.
Alternatively, 1 year of recent experience instructing MARSOC Technical Surveillance Cyber Course, Special Forces Brighton Course, or equivalent SOCOM Tactical Cyber or Technical Support Operations curriculum and techniques.
Strong understanding of Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance procedures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
