Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer with outstanding expertise in Jira and Confluence . The Support Engineer will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our users, addressing queries ranging from project configuration changes and user access request(s), to the creation of new projects/project initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of Jira and Confluence, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

Basic Job Duties:
User Support and Query Resolution:
> Act as a first point of contact for all of the client's Jira and Confluence, related queries
> Provide prompt and accurate solutions to user problems and requests.
Project Configuration:
> Handle requests for changes in project configuration, ensuring that these changes meet the business requirements and comply with company policies.
User Management:
> Manage user access, roles, and permissions.
New Project/Space Creation:
> Create new projects and setup workflows based on the requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
> Regularly review and suggest improvements to the Jira and Confluence setup to enhance performance and user experience.
Collaboration:
> Work closely with other IT/Technology and related support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to user support enterprise-wide.

Other Essential Skills and Qualifications:
> Proven experience (3+ years) as a support engineer or similar user-facing role with a focus on Jira and Confluence.
> In-depth understanding of Jira and Confluence, including advanced features and admin capabilities.
> Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at once - excellent in multi-tasking
> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have(s) / Preferred Experience:
> Familiarity working with Bitbucket is highly desirable.
> Scripting and automation skills are highly desirable.
