PROMAN Staffing has partnered with our global manufacturing client in The Colony, TX to source and hire a mechanically inclined, hands-on Technical Specialist to support their warehouse facility.

This is a DIRECT HIRE Opportunity.

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for repairing units/machines, offering guidance during Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), and providing essential service support. Additionally, the Technical Warehouse Specialist may assist with fulfilling customer demo requests and offer technical support for the Texas region.

Technical Specialist Essential Functions:

1. Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our product line to effectively address repair needs and provide technical assistance.

2. Repair Expertise: Execute repairs on units/machines efficiently and accurately, ensuring they meet quality standards.

3. PDI Guidance: Provide guidance during the Pre-Delivery Inspection process, ensuring proper assembly and functionality of units/machines.

4. Service Support: Offer essential service support, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to maintain optimal performance of our products.

5. Demo Requests: Assist in fulfilling customer demo requests, showcasing product features and benefits.

6. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance & operational training for customers in the Texas region, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to streamline operations and maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

8. Training: Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends through training programs to enhance skills and expertise.

9. Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager to meet operational needs.

Technical Specialist Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience in repairing and servicing machinery or units.

Strong technical knowledge of our product line.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic proficiency in MS Office and other relevant computer applications.

Minimum 5 years' experience working with MEWP and telehandlers.

Basic competence reading and understanding electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Must have tools required to repair and maintain construction equipment.

Valid Texas Driver's license
