Job Title:Technical Specialist- Senior (EHR Access BI Developer)

Location:Durham,NC (Hybrid)

Duration: 5 months

Note:

MODEL CERTIFICATIONONLY CANDIDATES WITH COGITO FUNDAMENTALS AND ACCESS DATA

Hybrid arrangement- There will be a one-week orientation session with onboarding, and likely 1 week per month during the project, with being onsite for about 2-4 weeks for go live prep and go live support.

About 6 times during the project on average but could be less/more.

Responsibilities:

Seeking Senior Technical Specialist with Cogito Fundamentals & access data model certification for EHR access business intelligence development associated with an EHR build project for DHHS DSOHF facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and test Epic-released and Foundation System content for all

applications, including Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer data models, Radar

dashboards, Cogito SQL

Create content to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle

Write SQL and configure Radar settings for custom SQL metrics

Modify existing reports as necessary

Distribute analytics content to data consumers

Review peer reports for validity

Work with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers

Required Skills:

Certified by Epic in: Cogito Fundamentals and Access Data Model Experience with EHR access business intelligence development in Epic using analytics tools

Health IT business intelligence development experience

A degree in engineering, physics, computer sciences, math, information systems, or statistics

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and analytical and proactive problem-solving skills

Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts

Ability to understand data structures that could benefit the entire data environment

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
