As a Technical Service Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Provide application expertise in both mechanical and electrical design engineering to support District Sales Managers and customers.
- Review drive specifications and job requirements provided by customers to ensure technical compliance.
- Generate assembly instructions and support production as needed to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
- Handle complaints related to field failures, evaluate returned products for warranty analysis, document inspections/complaints, and generate reports.
- Administer warranty decisions in accordance with established procedures.
- Offer Electronics/Motion Control and Power Transmission application expertise to personnel and customers.
- Maintain established sales activity and contribute to increasing new sales of products within Corporate guidelines.
- Travel to customer sites as necessary to provide on-site support and foster long-term relationships.
Requirements for the Technical Service Engineer:
- Experience with Mechanical and manufacturing principles.
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering along with relevant experience.
- The ability to travel to customer sites.
- Must be knowledgeable in CAD systems
- Customer service experience and communication skills.
