Technical Sales & Service Coordinator

What Were Looking For The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand product technical data, read engineering drawings and good speed and accurate typing skills. Ability to build customer rapport and relationships. Duties and Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support of customer accounts and serve as a primary point of contact between the customer and the company. The Technical Sales and Service Coordinator can provide customer support, technical support, planning and optimization for the accounts, as well as developing a relationship with the customers. Takes incoming calls from customers, determines which product or service fits the application, and quotes the customer. Follows up with customers after quoting to obtain feedback, answer questions, and obtain purchase orders. 1. Review and analyze customer requirements to determine which product will be the best fit. 2. Create customer proposals in compliance with company standards and contract language. 3. Prepare configurations, equipment lists, clarifications and exceptions for use by other departments such as engineering, sales, estimating, manufacturing, etc. 4. Act as customer contact regarding product quotations and complex pricing, scheduling and shipping and makes pricing decisions. 5. Coordinate expediting activities with other departments to assure accuracy in pricing, delivery, invoicing, etc. 6. Enter orders into the system for customers. 7. Make pricing decisions based on previous standards regularly and customarily. 8. Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively. 9. Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company. 10. Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards. 11. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner. 12. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance. 13. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned. Skills: Ability to understand product technical data and read engineering drawings Ability to read, write, understand, take instruction and speak in Standard American English Proficiency in using Windows PCs Proficiency in MS Office Products Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM Required Experience and Education At least one year of relevant work experience (Inside or technical sales preferred. HS Diploma (Required) Bachelors Degree (Preferred but not required) Physical and Technical Environment Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment Ability to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs, utilizing elevator Clean and orderly manufacturing environment and/or normal office conditions, changing deadlines and project requirements, strict time constraints.
