Technical Project Manager Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US Your primary responsibility as a Project Manager is to provide leadership and organization for multi-disciplinary teams developing software, designing and implementing computer networks and integrating hardware and software to deliver complete, functional systems. Your efforts will support of the Department of Defense and other Intelligence Community agencies across the full product lifecycle; R&D, developmental testing, operational deployment, production, and sustainment. What you'll get to do: Serve as project lead for Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure successful execution project objectives
Lead multidisciplinary technical teams of 3-7 people across 2-4 mid-sized enterprise projects totaling $3M annually
Define and track activities ranging from systems engineering, software/hardware development, test/QA, deployment, and support
Own project cost, risk, schedule, and performance
Manage risks, identify issues, and develop mitigation plans
Generate and present coherent, polished briefings to DoD customers for engineering project milestones such as System Requirement Reviews (SRR), Design Reviews (PDR/CDR) and Program Management Reviews (PMRs)
Develop and/or gather information to generate required contract deliverables such as technical documents and reports Qualifications you'll bring: Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects (ideally with Prime DoD Contractor)
US Citizen with Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
MS Suite experience with strong knowledge of MS Project
Creative problem-solving skills Qualifications that are nice to have: Intelligence community experience Bachelor's degree in field of Systems Engineering or Software Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience managing software development projects (ideally with Prime DoD Contractor)
Active TS/SCI security clearance
