Job Description:

Vexcel, a wholly owned subsidiary of client, is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a large team on a fast-paced, innovative program.

This role involves building complex, hardware & software-intensive systems while maintaining operations in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate, complete, and execute tasks aligned with the company and client's strategy, goals, and timeline.

Manage a diverse team of employees and vendors, overseeing all business aspects of a large, long-term program.

Utilize comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of Program Management (including Finance, Delivery, Scope, Contracts/Subcontracts, Risk, Scheduling, Staffing, Communications, Quality Assurance, Deliverables) to run the program.

Serve as the primary customer interface for your workstream and act as a trusted advisor to the Customer, Program Executives, and Company General Manager.

Review and update program-level documentation, including scope modifications, vendor proposals, project startup documentation, subcontract documentation, and program management plan.

Develop, maintain, and present scope of work documentation for new and existing vendors. Prepare Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) exercises for vendors as part of evaluation and Proof of Concept (POC) exercises.

Collaborate with various teams to develop and present PowerPoint presentations & Visio diagrams.

Conduct, organize, prepare, and represent documentation for an Architecture & Engineering review board for new project implementations with all stakeholders.

Provide clear and continuous communication to stakeholders on project progress and status.

Guide and mentor project team members to ensure successful project completion.

Establish and maintain program management processes, including the creation and upkeep of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Maintain standards and develop processes across the Program.

Work with project managers advising on all program management functions.

Develop and lead Customer and/or executive-level presentations and meetings.

Experience with Azure DevOps a plus.

Work in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.

Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes while simultaneously managing various responsibilities.

Strong people skills, ability to debate, dialogue, negotiate, influence and work with both internal and external stakeholders collaboratively and constructively.

Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.

AutoCAD proficiency a plus.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree.

Willingness to conduct site visits in the 5 boroughs of NYC for stakeholder meetings, surveys, and integration as needed. Assume this is several days a month.

Prepare detailed site survey documentation.

Ability to report to the Vexcel office, as needed, at least 1 day a week (usually Wednesdays).

Ability to represent Vexcel as the primary customer interface for all business aspects of the Program.

Experience in developing and leading customer, Vendor and/or executive-level presentations and meetings.

Minimum of 12 years' work experience in project management

Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Excel & Viso
