Job Description:

Technical Project Manager (TPM)

• Partners with the Technology Delivery Leader and business leaders to create and execute a multi-year vision and roadmap for their portfolio of applications.

• Contributes to the estimation and portfolio budget process while driving on-time and on-budget development of new functionality and RTB initiatives.

• Supports and partners with the Squad Leaders and Product Owners to develop and maintain the delivery timeline

• Contributes to resource capacity planning and staffing for the squads to ensure successful tech delivery

• Provides high level oversight and direction of backlog management across squads

• Hosts Scrum of Scrums to help facilitate and track technical activities being managed in the backlogs of each scrum team

• Provides a single point of accountability for foundational services, engaging technical team members as needed

Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager:

1. Project Planning and Execution: The Technical Project Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining the project plan, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. They coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that project milestones are met and that the project is executed according to plan.

2. Resource Management: The Technical Project Manager manages project resources, including assigning tasks to team members, tracking progress, and ensuring that the necessary resources are available to complete the project successfully. Interactions with other members of the delivery team:

2. Development Team: The Technical Project Manager works closely with the development team, providing technical guidance and support. They collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring that the project's technical deliverables are achieved.

3. Product Owner: The Technical Project Manager interacts with the Product Owner to understand and prioritize technical requirements. They work together to ensure that the project's technical aspects align with the product vision and goals.
