Plano, TX(onsite) Key Roles and Responsibilities: - Platform/Technical Product Management:
- Manage and oversee platform or technical products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and product management, to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery.
- Architecture and Design:
- Lead the architecture and design of systems using microservices architecture.
- Provide technical guidance and decision-making regarding system design, integration, and scalability.
- Software Development:
- Leverage a solid technical background to understand and influence software development processes and web technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback on design and implementation, and ensure best practices are followed.
- REST Clients and Services:
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
- Production Management:
- Take responsibility for running applications in production, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes.
- Deployment Environments:
- Use platform-as-a-service (PaaS) deployment environments effectively.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Deploy applications using both container and cloud VM application deployment models.
- Agile Methodologies:
- Work within agile/scrum/kanban development teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-Client, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
- Communication:
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Present complex technical information clearly to peers, developers, and senior leaders.
Required Skills and Qualifications: - Education:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in a platform or technical product management role.
- 3+ years in architecture and design of systems using microservices architecture.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong background in software development and web technologies.
- Expert in developing REST clients and services.
- Proficient in managing applications in production.
- Knowledgeable in using platform-as-a-service (PaaS) environments.
- Experienced with CI/CD processes and tools.
- Skilled in container and cloud VM application deployment models.
- Agile Experience:
- Experience working within agile/scrum/kanban development teams.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
