The Technical Planning Solution Architect is the primary technical resource for all retail planning implementations. The role requires being well versed in specific planning tools such as Blue Ridge and Tagetik as well as having the ability to code in SQL, JSON, and via PowerApps. A strong working knowledge of excel is also required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and deploy technical strategies to help retailers improve sales and margin
- Perform the necessary analysis and consultation to identify business/technical issues and opportunities, solution requirements, and related benefits
- Communicate with internal and client leadership
- Create an accurate and achievable technical implementation processes
- Be a key resource and trusted partner for client technical teams
- Timely completion of technical tasks required for implementation projects
- Complete a post implementation "technical guide" to ensure knowledge is transferred
- Work as part of a project team to deliver retail focused solutions from project kick-off through project go-live
- Measure delivery of our solution against requirements, through ownership of deliverables and thorough review with client
- Aid in preparing and analyzing project plans and requirements documentation
- Build rapport with clients through effective communication, working sessions, and status meetings
- Complete assigned tasks according to project schedule and communicates status to Project Manager
- Learn enVista implementation methodology and related deliverables
Skills and Experience Needed :
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related areas is required; Master's degree is preferred
- At least 5 years professional industry experience, retail experience required
- Requires retail or business application knowledge and experience (such as Retail Planning, ERP, OMS and POS)
- Experience in Blue Ridge and Tagetik Implementations
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, SQL, Data Movement Methodologies (ETL) and MS Office applications
- Basic knowledge of JSON and Microsoft Power Apps
- Strong data manipulation and analysis skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple tiers of an organization along with the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lead technical resources on projects
- Ability to manage projects end to end with minimal guidance
- Must practice the highest level of confidentiality of clients' intellectual property
- Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally
