specifications; deliver electrical engineering support for control systems projects, primarily in industrial settings; design, specify, and procure control systems, low-voltage switchgear, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives; troubleshoot circuit and/or design problems and provide technical assistance to field crews; perform pre-operational and ongoing testing, construction supervision, commissioning, and startup phases of industrial facilities; integrate diverse industry systems and products, such as measurement instruments, field components, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), industrial communication networks, physical and virtualized servers, electrical and control panels, power electronics, and various electrical components (i.e. Variable Frequency Drives, direct starters, soft starters, and circuit breakers), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) / Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) components, and mining process optimization of ECN proprietary products; and comply with and enforce applicable company safety, environmental, and governmental policies and regulations. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely-related field; three years relevant experience; experience in Commissioning Control Projects; experience with Factory Talk View SE software, Historian, and Rockwell Automation Software suite; English and Spanish written and verbal language skills; knowledge of Process Controller Function Block, PLC ladder logic, structured text programming, and process related closed-loop control systems; knowledge of Industrial Network Protocols including DeviceNet, ControlNet, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, and Ethernet TCP/IP; knowledge of hardware and architecture specification for control systems; knowledge of Industrial Instrumentation principles; experience reading electrical schematics and drawings; experience operating power, voltage, and current measurement equipment, test instruments, and hand tools; and up to 50 % domestic travel required.
