Technical Laboratory Assistant

Overview POSITION SUMMARY: Technical Laboratory Assistants are responsible for specimen processing, limited test performance and limited entry of test results for subsequent review. Technical Lab Assistants are also accountable for assisting with all duties within the laboratory as delegated and within the scope of regulatory and accrediting bodies and the policies, procedures and standards of Conway Regional Medical Center. They will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through effective collaboration efforts. SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services. Qualifications Have earned a Bachelor Degree in a Physical, Biological Technical (computer)Science or Administration. OR Are a current Junior or Senior enrolled in a physical, biological or Technical (computer) science or Administration program at an accredited college or university.
