The Opportunity: As a Te chn ical Instructional Designer and Integrator, you will help manage the design and development of classroom and te chn ology-based training courses. You'll apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. You will develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. You'll work closely with the client based on their guidance and priorities but will c ond uct independent research and assessments for solutions. On our team, you'll work with SMEs, instructors, or product designers to capture your customer's training needs and advise them on the right learning solution to help them accomplish their mission or goals. Putting the learner at the center of the training experience, you'll help research and develop training solutions that will increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the training environment to support the clients' goals. You'll use your te chn ical skills, creativity, and experience to come up with new ideas to develop an e nga ging, interactive learning experience. You'll research and recommend cutting-edge te chn ologies and strategies, including blended learning, to build a successful learning environment. You know communication is key, so you'll meet with SMEs, instructors, or product designers throughout the process to discuss learning material and incorporate feedback. To ensure your solution is hitting the mark, you'll collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model, then fine-tune your recommendations for maximum impact. You'll be able to hone your leadership skills as you share your expertise through leadership and mentoring. As a leader, you'll identify new opportunities to build solutions to your customer's learning needs. You Have: Experience working in instructional design
Experience with a wide range of modern learning te chn ological solutions such as learning management systems, AR / VR, modeling, and simulation
Experience designing and developing learning programs across delivery mediums and content types, including mobile learning, e-learning, video, gamification, virtual learning, simulation, and live classroom
Experience designing and developing scalable, e nga ging, online training
Ability to work with diverse clients in both live and virtual environments
Ability to evaluate existing curriculum and develop recommendations for improving the learning environment
Ability to work within a team
Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Development, or Instructional Delivery Nice If You Have: Experience with eLearning te chn ologies
Experience working with DoD personnel and related educational organizations
Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in simple terms
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master's degree in Adult Learning or Instructional Design

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
