Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced Technical Customer Engagement Advisor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will support federal client accounts to develop and implement forward-thinking IT strategies that align with our government clients' goals and needs while driving business revenue growth. This individual will be skilled in navigating conversations with both business and technical owners and be able to work with customers to understand their priorities, challenges, and initiatives to translate them into new business opportunities. In this role, your ultimate responsibility will be outreach to mid-tier management and technical leadership at DHS to expand awareness of, access to, and procurement of Peraton's technical capabilities and modernization solutions. Required to travel within the DC Region to customer and non-customer sites. Day to Day Work Responsibilities: Deliver customer presentations, develop Statements of Work, respond to RFPs and RFIs, and participate in and/or lead customer workshops, demos, proofs of concept, and assessments.
Serve as a liaison between mid-tier management and leadership to identify, advise on, and support initiation of new DHS projects.
Conduct hands-on fieldwork to showcase and promote the organizations' capabilities across DHS HQ and Components.
Implement strategies to increase lead generation, collaborating closely with Client Advocates and technical teams. Build and nurture client relationships, demonstrating an understanding of their needs and providing tailored solutions that address those needs.
Support the sales pipeline to drive potential DHS opportunities to award, to include drafting technical proposals and supporting initial project resourcing.
Engage with external vendors to define scope and pricing to deliver client requirements. Establish a shared understanding of clients' current state implementations and support development of recommendations for target state solutions.
Develop and deliver engaging presentations to showcase the scope of services, expertise, and benefits Peraton provides to client organizations.
Remain informed of industry trends and competitors to ensure a competitive edge in outreach efforts.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling content that demonstrates our core services for client-facing lead generation campaigns.
Participate in industry events and conferences to enhance the company's visibility into emerging technologies, competitors, and direction of federal requirements.
Track and analyze engagement metrics to optimize outreach strategies.Qualifications Basic Qualifications: US Citizenship required, Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 8 years' experience or Master's degree and 6 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 12 years experience. ITIL v4 Certification required.
Experience with technical customer engagement or a similar role within the IT industry required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage both technical and non-technical customers.
