Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Technical Business Development Representative (RTO Software) for our oil & gas manufacturing and services client located in Houston, Texas(link removed) This role is REMOTE with up to 40% domestic travel, as necessary.






Bachelors Degree in a technical field (engineering preferred) and 7+ years of technical sales / business development/operations experience within the upstream oil & gas sector


Experience working in upstream onshore field operations preferred


Knowledge of emissions management and compliance strongly preferred


Base salary of $130k - $150k DOE plus up to 100% commission opportunity and excellent benefits



The RTO solution includes Visual Automation, Emissions Management, and Emissions Reduction, to address the unique challenges of the industry, including compliance with OOOO and Sub Part W regulations.



Role Responsibilities:


Develop a technical understanding of Visual Automation, Emissions Management, and Emissions Reduction technologies specific to the Oil & Gas sector.


Stay abreast of industry trends, OOOO, and Sub Part W regulations to effectively position and promote the product offering.


Identify and build relationships with decision-makers in the Oil and Gas sector, including operations, HSE and compliance managers.


Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to clients to promote and sell company solutions.


Collaborate with the sales team to create proposals aligning with client needs and regulatory requirements.


Navigate regulatory landscapes to ensure product offering meets and exceeds OOOO and Sub Part W regulations.


Effectively communicate technical assets of company product offering, including Visual Automation, Emissions Management, and Emissions Reduction, to both clients and internal teams.


Work closely with product development and engineering to ensure integration of client requirements and regulatory standards.


Provide regular updates on sales activities, project progress, and industry updates.


Qualifications:


Bachelors degree in a technical field (engineering or environmental preferred) and 7+ years professional experience in the upstream oil & gas sector


Experience in technical sales / business development / operations or a similar role within the upstream sector.


Strong knowledge of Visual Automation, Emissions Management, and Emissions Reduction technologies.


Familiarity with OOOO and Sub Part W regulations.


Excellent technical and interpersonal communication skills.


Strong understanding of Oil and Gas industry processes and regulations.
