Job Summary Job Summary PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under general supervision, to perform a variety of instructional or coordinating activities, to provide environmental education instruction to students, to assist with planning in assigned areas, and to do related work as assigned. Positions assigned to this class are distinguished from an Instructional Aide primarily by the relative independence of action to perform assigned duties. Technical Assistants typically work independently according to a developed plan or outline, and are expected to have background and knowledge of the areas assigned.
