Role : Tax Supervisor Location : Pittsburgh, PA Duration : Fulltime Hire Job Description : - Must have at least 5 years of tax return preparation experience (forms 1065, 1120, 1040, 990)
- Must have a BS in accounting
- Must have solid knowledge of tax code, laws, and regulations.
Responsibilities of the Tax Supervisor: Tax Supervisors deliver quality tax services to clients of the firm. Supervisors review individual, trusts, non-profit, and business tax returns, with the ability to train and advise staff and senior level accountants on interesting and complex engagements. As a supervisor you will utilize tax-related software to review tax returns and research tax matters as they relate to the needs of the client.
Requirements of the Tax Supervisor: Enjoy the public accounting industry and want to continue advancing in your career Bring 5 years of tax return preparation experience (forms 1065, 1120, 1040, 990) Hold a bachelor s degree in accounting (CPA not required) Provide excellent technical and project management skills Have solid knowledge of tax code, laws, and regulations Effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form Exhibit an advanced level of professionalism when representing the firm
