We are on the hunt for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Tax Senior to join our dynamic finance team. This hybrid role will allow you to utilize your expertise in tax accounting and tax returns, while also challenging you to grow and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-evolving finance industry. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Senior, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are critical to our financial success. Key responsibilities include:

1. Preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, benefit funds, real estate, and exempt organizations.
2. Assisting with federal, state, and local audits by preparing responses and defending tax positions.
3. Developing tax strategies to assist clients in being tax-compliant and achieving their financial goals.
4. Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax law and accounting procedures to ensure compliance and maximize efficiency.
5. Collaborating with team members to provide top-notch client service, including researching and resolving tax and accounting issues.
6. Mentoring and training junior staff members, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or MST is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in public accounting
3. Proven experience with tax accounting and preparing tax returns (1040, Corporate, S Corp, C Corp, Partnerships, Trusts & Estates, Multi state)
4. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes and regulations.
5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret tax law and financial data.
6. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, ProSystems Engagement and ProSystems Axcess is a plus.
