Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts.
• Assist with bookkeeping as necessary to support tax return preparation.
• Efficiently execute engagements to meet deadlines.
• Learn to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Offer tax planning and consulting to help clients achieve their financial objectives.
• Conduct tax research on various issues.
• This position may require extended hours and will not permit time off between January 1st and April 15th.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of recent public accounting experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a desire to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and a passion for learning.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with adaptability in various situations.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Preferably, a solid foundation in tax and accounting.
• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or CPA Candidate; familiarity with Ultra Tax, Accounting CS, and/or GoFileRoom.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory.
