Overview of the Tax Manager role: - The Tax Manager will be responsible for income tax compliance and financial statement reporting and disclosure of tax accruals in accordance with IFRS for the U.S. and Canada
- Assist in the implementation of tax credit opportunities related to expansion projects at the plant locations
- The Tax Manager will oversee the preparation of annual tax documentation of transfer prices
- Research complex income and commodity tax issues and develop recommendations
- The Tax Manager will manage the income tax compliance function for Canada and the US Including timely filing of estimated tax payments and tax returns
Qualifications of the Tax Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
- 3+ years of progressive experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporate taxation.
- Public accounting experience or large corporate experience
