Job Description:
The Tax Manager will have responsibility for assisting with the Company's income tax reporting
processes and the quarterly and annual global tax provision process. You will be reporting to the
Senior Tax Manager and be involved in shaping the tax department's tax accounting, compliance
policies and processes, while supporting the business needs of a fast-growing company. The Tax
Manager will be an Individual Contributor.
Requirements:
- Prepare the Company's ASC 740 income tax provision for interim and annual income tax
provisions, as reported in the Company's SEC Form 10-K/10-Q filings. - Collaborate closely with the broader finance organization to ensure tax transactions and
changes in tax legislation are accurately documented and accounted for under ASC 740 - Facilitate the interactions with multiple departments to coordinate information needs to
prepare the tax provision. - Manage the SOX control process and the external financial statement audit of the income tax
provision and the maintenance of SOX controls - Prepare federal, state and local income tax workpapers and review income tax returns prepared
from external tax advisors, along quarterly estimated tax payments. - Responsible for coordination of tax provision process for multiple entities/jurisdictions at year-
end and identifying/evaluating uncertain tax positions and adjustments to valuation allowances. - Respond to inquiries and correspondence from US tax authorities, resolving any tax-related
issues or disputes. - Understand GILTI, FDII, and BEAT calculations and analyze the impact to the tax provision and
tax returns - Maintain corporate tax calendar and efficiently manage deadlines and tax information requests
for the company. - Drive automation initiatives to increase the efficiency of tax accounting processes and provide
support for various company-wide financial systems related projects
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a combination of Big 4 public accounting and
industry experience - Extensive knowledge of US GAAP accounting for income taxes; familiarity with international tax
is preferred - Proven ability to conduct thorough tax research
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced excel skills required
- Experience in a fast moving, high growth environment with ability to react quickly to
unexpected challenges and opportunities - Good business sense and ability to generate insightful analysis
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to communicate complex subject
matter to leadership, peers and other levels in the company - Extremely organized and able to manage work requirements to meet reporting deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; active CPA license, Master's degree or LLM
preferred
