Job Details

We are seeking a talented and experienced Tax Manager to join our well-established and growing team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of tax accounting and compliance within the company and providing strategic tax advice to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, conducting tax research, ensuring tax compliance, providing tax advice, and developing team members. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional looking to take their career to the next level in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
2. Conduct comprehensive tax research to stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations.
3. Ensure tax compliance by accurately preparing and reviewing company and client tax returns.
4. Provide strategic tax advice to clients, helping them minimize their tax liabilities while remaining compliant with tax laws.
5. Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated financial solutions to clients.
6. Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Actively participate in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies.
8. Represent clients in tax audits and disputes, negotiating with tax authorities on their behalf.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
2. Active CPA license is required.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related role.
4. Proven experience in client management, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
5. Strong tax research skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws and regulations.
6. Extensive experience in tax compliance
7. Ability to provide strategic tax advice, helping clients navigate complex tax issues.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
9. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
