Responsibilities
- Tax Planning, Compliance, and Provision:
- Lead the department efforts in the preparation of income tax filings and provisions.
- Develop tax return calendar and coordinate inputs.
- Review tax returns and projections.
- Monitor tax law changes and strategize accordingly.
- Handle comprehensive property tax processes.
- Maintain control procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely filings.
- Manage IRS audits and responses.
- File sales and use tax returns.
- Administer exemption certificates and transition property tax responsibility.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Support internal audits and tax projects.
- Liaise with Group Tax team for updates and support.
- Process Improvement and Control:
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Maintain sales and use tax matrix and communications.
Requirements
- 10+ years of applicable experience in Federal Income Tax
- BS or MS in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
- CPA preferred
