We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Tax Associate to join our thriving finance team. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tax Associate, your primary duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
2. Conducting detailed tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
3. Assisting with tax planning and strategy development to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profitability.
4. Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and record-keeping.
5. Providing support during tax audits and responding to tax notices from various governmental agencies.
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations and advising management on any potential impacts.
7. Assisting with special projects as needed, including tax-saving strategies and process improvements.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Tax Associate position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, financial analysis, tax accounting, tax compliance, tax research, and tax returns.
3. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax regulations.
5. Proficiency in tax software and other related financial software.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
7. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
