Overview of the Tax Accountant role:
- Prepare corporate and individual tax returns
- Identify business opportunities for clients and provide additional business recommendations as requested
- Assist with bookkeeping, payroll, and tax planning activities as necessary
Preferred Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:
- Must be a certified CPA
- Minimum two years of tax experience within a CPA firm
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a changing environment
- Creative problem-solving, shows initiative and acts proactively
- Highly effective communication and relationship-building skills
