Overview of the Tax Accountant role:• Corporate and individual tax returns and reporting
• Identify business opportunities for clients and provide additional business recommendations as requested
• Assist with bookkeeping, payroll, and tax planning activities as necessary
• Prepare trust tax returns
Preferred Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance
• Minimum one year of tax experience is a must
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a changing environment
• Creative problem-solving, shows initiative and acts proactively
• Highly effective communication and relationship-building skills
